Box Score

Number of days since the Hillsdale College women's tennis team last dropped an individual match: 16.

It's getting more and more challenging to quantify how dominant the Chargers have been inside Great Midwest Athletic Conference play lately. The team won its fifth straight 9-0 decision Sunday afternoon, this time over Davis & Elkins in a conference match played at the Margot V. Biermann Center.

The win makes Hillsdale 10-4 overall and 5-0 in the G-MAC.

Not only is Hillsdale winning, it's winning in dominating fashion, winning every match in straight sets, and often, with margins of five or six sets within those matches. Sunday's contest with the Senators was no different.

Reigning G-MAC Player of the Week Halle Hyman kept up her winning ways with a 6-2, 6-3 victory at No. 1 singles and 8-1 at No. 1 doubles with Hannah Cimpeanu.

In singles action, Cimpeanu was similarly dominant, winning 6-2, 6-0 at No. 2 singles.

Sophomore Katie Bell won a 6-2, 6-2 decision at No. 3 singles, and was joined by Julia Formentin for an 8-3 win at No. 3 doubles.

Few players anywhere have been winning their matches by the margins won lately by sophomore Kamryn Matthews. Her 6-0, 6-0 win at No. 4 singles marked the fourth time in her last five singles matches she put together a 6-0, 6-0 victory. Matthews and Madeline Bissett blanked their foes at No. 2 doubles 8-0.

Bissett won 6-1, 6-1 at No. 5 singles while Formentin won for the second straight time this weekend, 6-1, 6-0 at No. 6 singles.
