2011-12: Posted an 8th top time for the school in the 200 Breaststroke…Swam personal best times in the 100 Freestyle, 100 Backstroke, 100 Breaststroke, 200 Breaststroke, and 200 IM…Member of the 200 Medley Relay that placed 6th and qualified for a B cut at the GLIAC Championships…Placed 14th in the 100 Breaststroke.
2010-11: Kate had a sucessful freshman year.Her year was highlighted by an 11th placefinish at the GLIAC Championship Meetwhere she turned in an impressive time of1:08.78 in the 100 yd Breaststroke event.This time also ranked her number five in theHillsdale College Swimming Top Ten recordbook. Kate also swam an impressive time atthe Calvin College Invitational where sheswam the 200 yd Breaststroke in 2:34.58.
High School: A backstroke and breaststroke specialist during her four years on the varsity swimming and diving team at North High School in Downers Grove, Ill…A team captain, she recorded career-best times of 1:02.43 (100 back) and 1:08.49 (100 breaststroke) during her four-year varsity career…Team was 2007 sectional champions, and finished in the top 15 in the state of Illinois twice during her career…She earned medals at the state meet as part of her school’s medley relay team in 2009…Two-year member of the National Honor Society and the French Honors Society…Part of the school’s choir and Link Crew...Born April 3, 1992…Parents are Jack and Barbara.
