2012-13: Swam the 50 Freestyle at the GLIACs with a career top time of 25.61…Dropped three seconds in the 100 Fly at the Calvin Invitational with a career top time of 1:01.98…Named to the GLIAC Academic Excellence Team.
2011-12: Finished a great first year for the Chargers with personal best times in the 200 IM, 200 Breaststroke, and 100 Breaststroke…Dropped seven seconds at the GLIAC Championships in the 200 IM… Finished 15th at the GLIAC Championships in the 100 Breaststroke and 14th in the 200 Breaststroke.
2010-11: Alison started off her career in the right way. She competed in the GLIAC Championship meet. In this meetAlison swam a seaon best in two events. She turned in a time of 2:02.31 in the 200 Free and 57.01 in the 50 Free. She alsohad an impressive meet against Grand Valley State University where she swam the 500 Free in 5:51.40.
High School: A four-time All-Conference and All-County selection for the Bulldogs at Brighton High School…A state qualifier and All-State selection three times…Team went 20-2-1 in dual meets during her four-year career… Team was conference champions in 2008 and won back-to-back district titles in 2008 and 2009…Brighton finished fifth in the state in 2008…Member of the National Honor Society, peer mediation and acted as a freshman mentor during her high school years…Also participated in the chemistry Olympiad...Born Aug. 11, 1992…Parents are David and Nancy...Twin sister of fellow Charger freshman Hayley Johnson.
