2011-12: Began her season with a splash posting a personal best time in the 500 Freestyle at the Calvin Invitational…Also achieved a personal best time in the 200 Freestyle at the GLIAC meet…Participated in the GLIAC Championships in the 50 Free, 200 Free, 500 Free, and 100 Free…Achieved All-Academic Honors.

2010-11: Sami had a great second season, it began with a season best 500 free time of 5:33.08 at the Calvin College Invitational.Her season peaked during the GLIAC Championship Meet where she was a member of the sixth place 800 free relay that had atime of 7:50.25. At this meet Sami also produced season best times in the 50 Free in 25.09, the 100 Free in 55.05, and the 200 Freein 2:00.57.

2009-10: Had a promising first season as a Charger…She was a member of the 400 free relay team that finished third with a time of 3:35.77 at the Calvin Winter Invite…Also swam on the 800 free relay team that took fifth at the Winter Invitational with a time of 7:56.13…She shaved off two seconds from her previous best time in the 100 free with a time of 54.74 at the GLIAC Championships…Turned in a pair of season-best times at GLIACs with a 1:59.92 200 free, and a time of 25.35 in the 50 free…Was a part of the 200 free relay team that took 6th at the GLIAC Championships with a time of 1:39.45.

High School: Ward was one of the top performers on a very successful Highlanders team that lost a total of seven dual meets in her four-year career...Was named First-Team All-State twice, and has career-best times of 25.2 seconds in the 50 free, and 5:17 in the 500 free...Adams went 10-2 in dual meets in each of her last three seasons, and was 11-1 in her freshman year of 2005...Born May 8, 1991... Mother is Ginna Ward...Is a Biology Major...Named to the Dean's List in Fall 2009, and Spring 2010...Member of Pi Beta Phi, Athletes in Action, and Hillsdale College Student Athletic Advisory Committee...Volunteers with CAR and First Book.
