Lakers Stifle Charger Offense

The Hillsdale College Chargers fell to the No. 3-ranked Grand Valley State University Lakers in a 74-25 loss tonight. 

 They started off the game strong on the offensive end with a 9-2 run, but they went on to only score two points in the second quarter with a jumper by sophomore Grace Touchette. Hillsdale entered halftime down 35-15.

After the half, they struggled to regain momentum on offense. They managed to score 10 points in the second half, while Grand Valley added 39.

The Lakers forced nine Charger turnovers on steals alone tonight. Touchette went on to lead Hillsdale in scoring with six points. Senior Julia Wacker led the team in rebounds with six.
