OVERVIEW

  • A rematch of the 2018 G-MAC Women's Basketball Tournament Championship Game is a quarterfinal matchup this year as Hillsdale heads to Findlay for a 5:30 p.m. first-round game Tuesday night
  • Just like last year, Hillsdale enters the conference tournament as the #5 seed
  • The Chargers' 88-67 win over the Oilers on Feb. 9 was part of Hillsdale's eight-game winning streak, which was snapped last Saturday in a slim loss to Kentucky Wesleyan
  • Hillsdale's offense is operating at its highest level of the season over the past few weeks...The Chargers have scored 72 or more points in nine consecutive games and eclipsed the 90-point barrier twice in that span
  • Senior forward Brittany Gray has made 80 3-point baskets this season, which is tied for first in the G-MAC and is two away from Hillsdale's single-season school record of 82, set by Chelsea Harrison in 2009-10
  • As a team, Hillsdale has 276 made 3-point field goals this season, six away from breaking the G-MAC single-season team record
  • Findlay is led by forward Anna Hintz, the conference's regular season leader in both scoring 18.9 ppg) and rebounding (8.9 rpg)
  • The winner of the Findlay-Hillsdale quarterfinal game will face the winner of the Walsh-Trevecca Nazarene game in a semifinal matchup Friday, March 8
  • The host school for the semifinals and finals will be the top remaining seed at the end of Tuesday night's quarterfinal games...Walsh won a three-way tie with Cedarville and Kentucky Wesleyan to earn the tournament's number one seed
  • The Chargers have won three conference tournaments in their history - 2002 and 2009 in the GLIAC and 2018 in the G-MAC
