Hillsdale Finishes 0-2 in Texas

The Charger women's basketball team wrapped up its trip to Austin, Texas with a 64-56 loss to Central Oklahoma Saturday afternoon. Hillsdale is now 0-2, but will make its home debut Tuesday night in an exhibition game veruss Olivet College at 7 p.m.

Hillsdale had a tough time shooting from the floor and the free throw line in this closely played game. The Chargers missed nine free throws and shot 39 percent from the floor. Hillsdale held Central Oklahoma to 33 percent shooting from the field and won the rebounding battle, but committed 26 turnovers and were outscored by seven from the free throw line.

Junior forard Megan Fogt had another huge game for the Chargers with 12 points and 16 rebounds in 34 minutes. She now has an amazing 37 rebounds in the team's first two games, an average of 18.5 per game.

Sophomore guard Ashlyn Landherr (pictured) shot 5-for-7 from the field and scored a team-high 13 points for Hillsdale. Junior Chelsea Farrell came off the bench to contribute six points, including a 3-point field goal. Junior Brooke Borowski grabbed six rebounds in 23 minutes on the floor.
