Hillsdale Signs 2 to Softball Program

Kyle Gross, softball coach at Hillsdale College, is pleased to announce the signing of two new players to the 2019 squad.

Jenna Cantalupo (Chesterfield, Michigan) and Meghan McKeogh (Chagrin Falls, Ohio), "are athletic and versatile which fits right into our program," Gross said

Although the class of 2023 is small in numbers, Gross fully expects the players to make an impact in years to come.

Jenna Cantalupo

Going into her third year on the varsity team as a catcher and outfielder… Batted .438 in her junior year with 4 home runs...Was named 1st Team All-Conference, 1st Team All-County and, 2nd Team All-Region her junior year... Helped lead her team to District Champions...On the Macomb Area Conference All-Academic Team and All-Academic Honors Academy… Volunteers with feed the Bay Food Packaging Service at local library.

Meghan McKeogh

As a middle infielder with four years of varsity experience she batted .438 leading her team in home runs… In 2018 she was Magna Cum Laude....Founder and Chairman of the Player Advisory Board of Stay in Softball, a charity making softball accessible to all...Received National Jr. Fraternalist of the Year award in 2017)... Sings in the church choir and has recorded several CD's.
