Adams, Ciraci, Hyman Earn All-Conference Men's Tennis Awards

2019 Men's Tennis All-Conference Awards Release

Two of the best and most consistent players on the Charger men's tennis team were rewarded for their strong seasons Thursday night in Kentucky.

Junior Charlie Adams was named First-Team All-Conference, while seniors John Ciraci and Justin Hyman earned Second-Team All-Conference honors. The awards were bestowed at the all-conference banquet, held on the campus of Kentucky Wesleyan College on the eve of the postseason tournament.

All three of those players repeated recognition they received from the conference last year.

Adams, a tenacious competitor, went 12-8 in singles play and 16-6 in doubles action during the 2018-19 season. He played all 20 singles matches in the No. 1 slot this season.

Ciraci was one of the team's most versatile players, playing with four different doubles partners this year. In singles action, he went 13-6, going 10-4 at the No. 3 singles position.

Hyman repeated his Second-Team All-Conference honor. He teamed up with Adams to form a strong No. 1 doubles team, one that got nationally ranked during the regular season.
