The Charger men's tennis team suffered its first loss of the 2019 season Friday afternoon, losing by the slimmest of margins 4-3 to the University of Southern Indiana in Evansville. The loss drops Hillsdale to 5-1 on the season.
The Screaming Eagles won a pair of singles matches that required tiebreakers, and earned the doubles point with a 7-5 win at the No. 2 doubles flight. USI is 4-0 on the season.
Charlie Adams and Justin Hyman were victorious at No. 1 doubles, 6-3.
Hyman made it s 2-0 day for himself with a 6-4, 7-5 win at No. 2 singles. John Ciraci picked up a 6-2, 6-2 victory at No. 3 singles, while Gabe Katz was a 6-0, 6-2 win at No. 6 singles.
