The Hillsdale College men's tennis team competed against several highly ranked Midwest programs at this weekend's ITA Regionals, hosted by Davenport University.
Junior Michael Szabo had one of the most successful weekends for the Chargers, winning a singles flight match against Davenport before losing in the second round to Lewis. Szabo and doubles partner Julien Clouette advanced to the second round before getting knocked out.
Hillsdale's top doubles team of Justin Hyman and Charlie Adams picked up wins over Southern Indiana and Grand Valley State before bowing out in the third round to Wayne State. John Ciraci and Brian Hackman also won a first-round match over Findlay.
Jerry Hewitt was a first-round winner against Davis & Elkins.
