It's been since St. Patrick's Day that the Hillsdale College men's tennis team has been on the losing end of a match.
That streak remained intact after Sunday's 9-0 Great Midwest Athletic Conference win over Davis & Elkins at the Margot V. Biermann Center. The win makes Hillsdale 10-6 overall and 6-0 in the G-MAC.
All six singles matches were decided in straight sets. Milan Mirkovic won 6-1, 6-2 at No. 1 singles. Charlie Adams didn't lose a game in a 6-0, 6-0 win at No. 2 singles. Junior Justin Hyman survived a test at No. 3 singles, winning 7-5, 6-1.
Senior Dugan Delp kept up his winning ways with a 6-1, 6-1 win at No. 4 singles, while Michael Szabo stepped in at No. 5 singles and won 6-0, 6-1. Freshman Gabe Katz duplicated Adams's score with a 6-0, 6-0 win at No. 6 singles.
Adams and Hyman were 8-5 winners at No. 1 doubles. Delp teamed up with John Ciraci for an 8-3 victory at No. 2 doubles, while Mirkovic and his doubles partner Julien Clouette won 8-1 at No. 3 doubles.
