For the second week in a row, Milan Mirkovic has been named the Great Midwest Athletic Conference Player of the Week for men's tennis. And given how he and his team played last week, it's not a big surprise.
Mirkovic has been the No. 1 singles player for the Chargers, who are in first place with a 4-0 conference mark. He helped lead Hillsdale to a pair of conference wins last week, over Findlay and Cedarville. He dropped a total of seven games in recording two straight-sets wins at No. 1 singles, then teamed up with his doubles partner Julien Clouette for wins of 8-6 and 8-3 at No. 3 doubles.
Mirkovic has won three straight singles matches and five straight doubles matches for the Chargers.
