Men's Tennis Extends Winning Streak With 8-1 Win Over Findlay

The Hillsdale College men's tennis team has quickly grabbed control of the Great Midwest Athletic Conference standings with its third win in the past five days.

The busy recent schedule hasn't slowed the Chargers down at all as they earned an 8-1 win over the University of Findlay in Ohio Tuesday afternoon. Hillsdale is now 7-6 overall and 3-0 in the G-MAC.

Hillsdale swept all three doubles matches, led by the No. 1 duo of Charlie Adams and Justin Hyman's 8-5 win. John Ciraci and Dugan Delp kept up their winning ways with an 8-2 victory at No. 2 doubles. Julien Clouette and Milan Mirkovic were 8-6 winners at No. 3 doubles.

Four of the five Charger winners in the singles flights won their matches in straight sets. Ciraci made a nice impact at No. 6 singles with a 6-1, 6-1 win. Sophomore Michael Szabo was a 6-4, 6-4 winner at No. 5 singles, while Delp rallied from a 1-6 loss in his opening set to win the final two 6-1, 6-2.

Adams took home a 6-3, 6-2 win at No. 2 singles, while Mirkovic enjoyed a 6-1, 6-0 win at No. 1 singles.
