The recent winning streak that has vaulted the Hillsdale College men's tennis team into GLIAC contention came to a frustrating end Saturday afternoon.
The Chargers dropped a 5-4 decision to Wayne State University at the Mary Jane Delp Courts. Hillsdale is now 9-7 on the season.
Hillsdale's top doubles teams each played well in picking up wins in the top two flights. Justin Hyman and Charlie Adams won an 8-5 decision, a score matched by the No. 2 doubles team of John Ciraci and Dugan Delp.
Delp was the team's lone double winner in his home outdoor season debut, winning 6-1, 6-4 at No. 4 singles. Milan Mirkovic was also victorious at No. 3 singles, by a score of 6-4, 6-2.
