The top four singles players were all victorious for the Chargers Sunday, with three of those wins requiring a score of seven in one of the sets. This kind of clutch play shows progress from this team, still very young in terms of experience.
Freshman Charlie Adams won for the second time at No. 1 singles, 7-5, 6-3. Sophomore Justin Hyman picked up a pair of wins, taking his No. 2 singles match 6-1, 6-1, and teaming up with junior Dugan Delp for a decisive 8-2 win at No. 1 doubles.
Milan Mirkovic has been on a roll and kept up his winning streak with a 6-1, 7-5 win at No. 3 singles. Delp picked up another win at No. 4 singles, 6-3, 7-5. John Ciraci earned Hillsdale's fifth win in singles Sunday in the No. 6 flight, 6-1, 6-2.
