The Hillsdale College men's golf team came out of its winter hibernation to return to the links at Tiffin University's Battle at the Beach event last weekend.
Hillsdale finished 12th out of 16 competing teams with a team score of 663. Indianapolis won the event with a team score of 599, followed by St. Thomas Aquinas (605) and Queen's University at Charlotte (609).
Joe Torres was Hillsdale's top performer, tying for 18th overall with a score of 79-76--155. Matt Chalberg was next with a two-day score of 65, followed by Logan Kaufman (170), Steve Sartore (173) and Brad Mitzner (181).
