2017-18 G-MAC Men's Basketball All-Conference Release

Three members of the Hillsdale College men's basketball team earned all-conference honors on the eve of the start of the Great Midwest Athletic Conference postseason tournament.

Senior Stedman Lowry and junior Nick Czarnowski were named Second-Team All-G-MAC, and senior Ryan Badowski picked up honorable mention All-G-MAC honors. The voting was conducted by conference coaches and the awards were presented Wednesday night at the men's basketball banquet on the campus of the University of Findlay.

Lowry finished the regular season as the team's top scorer for the second year in a row. He averaged 14.4 points per game while shooting 38 percent from 3-point territory. He's made 75 3-point baskets so far this season, a number that ranks him fifth in school history for a single season.

Czarnowski emerged as a consistent force in the paint in his first season as the team's starting center. He averaged 12.8 points and 6.3 rebounds per game, shooting 54.1 percent from the field in the regular season.

Badowski has played some of his best basketball over the season's final three weeks. In the team's final home game, he scored a career-high 36 points in a win over Ohio Valley. He was the team's second-leading scorer, averaging 12.9 points per game, shooting a team-best 41.7 percent from 3-point land.

Hillsdale begins postseason play Thursday afternoon, taking on Alderson Broaddus at 2:30 p.m. in the G-MAC Tournament Quarterfinal.
