Ryan Badowski Named GLIAC South Player of the Week

No one in the GLIAC South Division had a better start to the season than Hillsdlae College junior guard Ryan Badowski.

The Brunswick, Ohio native scored 41 points in Hillsdale's two wins over the weekend, and as a result, was named the GLIAC South Division Player of the Week Monday afternoon. The award was announced and chosen by the conference office.

In his season debut Friday night against Malone, Badowski scored a career-high 25 points, going 6-for-9 from 3-point territory, in Hillsdale's 85-53 win over the Pioneers. He followed that up with a 16-point performance in the Chargers' 94-57 rout of the Ohio Valley University Scots.

For the weekend, Badowski averaged 20.5 points per game on 71 percent shooting from the floor. He also had 4.5 rebounds per game and shot 62 percent from 3-point land in the two games.

Hillsdale, 2-0 on the season, will play its home opener this Saturday against the University of Indianapolis.
