Prior to Hillsdale: Twin brother of fellow freshman Steve Giannakopoulos, who each joined the Charger basketball program for the 2014-15 season…A 6-foot-5 guard who has played both point guard and shooting guard, he helped lead his team to first place in the school national tournament in Greece…His club team took third place in Greece’s regional tournament…Played for the Greek national team in the European championship season in 2011-12…Was part of his school’s voluntary and humanitarian efforts surrounding Athens…Born July 3, 1996…Parents are Konstantinos Giannakopoulos and Efthimia Krikela.
