One of these days, the Charger men's basketball team is going to win one of these Division I exhibition games.

For the second time in three years, Hillsdale College put a serious scare into a Division I opponent, only to fall at the last second.

A jump shot by Toledo's Julius Brown at the first overtime buzzer lifted the Rockets to an 85-84 win over the Chargers Sunday afternoon at Savage Arena in Toledo. Hillsdale will play its final exhibition game Monday night at Indiana University.

Two years ago, Hillsdale lost a similar game at Valparaiso, losing in the game's final possession. In this game, the Chargers led by four points with 67 seconds to play in overtime, only to see the University of Toledo score the game's final five points.

Senior forward Tim Dezelski (pictured) went absolutely wild from 3-point land, draining eight of his nine shots from beyond the arc to lead all scorers with 29 points in the ballgame. He hit his eighth three of the game with 1:07 to go in overtime to put Hillsdale ahead 84-80.

The Chargers shot 53 percent from the field and outrebounded the Rockets 36-32. But Toledo turned the ball over just nine times in 45 minutes.

Senior guard Brandon Pritzl had 14 points, five rebounds and four assists, while senior Tony Nelson came off the bench to score 12 on 5-for-8 shooting from the floor.
