A fixture around Hillsdale College athletics, Pat Hornak is entering a new role as the 2019-20 school year begins.

After working for 11 seasons with the Charger football program in a wide variety of roles, Hornak has moved into the newly created position of Director of Events and Game Day Management. He began these new duties in July 2019.

Hornak will be a key member of all Hillsdale College home events, across all of its sports, being responsible for game day venue set up, while also helping to keep equipment in good working order. He will also oversee event security and act as a host for visiting teams and officials. Hornak has also logged a number of years working the basketball table, including roles as the shot clock operator and official scorekeeper.

Hornak, a 2007 graduate of Hillsdale College, played football for the Chargers before moving into roles that grew from student coach to video coordinator, equipment manager and H-backs and tight ends coach.
