Chargers football season and single game tickets now on sale for 2023

The Hillsdale College football team heads into a 2023 season prepared to meet the challenges of a daunting schedule and battle their way back into G-MAC title contention.

You can join the Chargers on their journey and help cheer them on this fall, as both season tickets and single-game tickets are now available for purchase for the 2023 campaign. You can find tickets for all five home games available for purchase at hillsdale.universitytickets.com. A season ticket package that includes tickets to all five games is available here. Tickets are $8 per game, $4 for seniors and $3 for children, with children 2 and under admitted for free.

Hillsdale has five home games at Frank "Muddy" Waters Stadium this fall, starting with a huge homecoming contest at 4 p.m. on Sept. 23 against arch-rival and perennial G-MAC title contender Findlay after three weeks on the road. The Chargers annual homecoming game caps a weekend full of festivities across campus for returning alumni and friends of the college, so don't miss out on the fun.

The following Saturday, Sept. 30, Hillsdale welcomes in-state rival Northwood to Muddy Waters Stadium for Business and Industry Day, where the Chargers will salute local businesses who help our community thrive. While battling the Timberwolves, Hillsdale also will celebrate Victory Day, which provides a real football experience for local community members with special needs, as well as raising money for Coach to Cure and the battle against Duchenne's muscular dystrophy.

After a week on the road, Hillsdale returns home on Oct. 14 to take on G-MAC foe Kentucky Wesleyan at 1 p.m., a game that doubles as Pediatric Cancer Awareness Day.

The Chargers close out the regular season with two home games in the final three weeks, starting with a Parents Weekend game against G-MAC opponent Lake Erie on Oct. 28 at 2 p.m. The game against the Storm is the Chargers' annual Military Appreciation Day, with a variety of festivities designed to salute U.S. veterans and active duty military personnel for their service and sacrifice for our country.

Hillsdale finishes off its 2023 home slate on Nov. 11 at 1 p.m. against G-MAC foe Ohio Dominican. Prior to the start of the game, Hillsdale will salute its graduating senior class of football players for their career achievements and their loyalty to the program.

The Chargers enter 2023 coming off a 5-6 season, but one that included three losses by seven points or less and a fourth that was a one-score game with under seven minutes to play in the fourth quarter. With six of the program's top seven rushers returning from 2022, led by senior and first team All-G-MAC tailback Michael Herzog, and all five starters on the offensive line, Hillsdale will lean on its punishing ground game as the foundation of what could be a dynamic offense.

Defensively, Hillsdale is experienced in the secondary with returning impact players Vince Francescone and Sam Zemis headlining. Junior Riley Tolsma was the Chargers' top pass rusher in 2022 and will look to build on his breakout season in 2023.
