EXTRA POINTS:
- Both teams play their first Great Midwest Athletic Conference games this Saturday night in Columbus
- The Panthers have won four in a row vs. Hillsdale and lead the all-time series 5-2
- Charger QB Chance Stewart needs 74 passing yards to become the third player in school history with 7,000 passing yards in a career
- Stewart made his first career start against ODU back on October 10, 2015. He threw for 294 yards and 2 scores in that game, a 34-29 Panthers victory
- Both of ODU's wins this season have come against nationally ranked opponents: California (PA) and Ashland
- Last week, sophomore WR Konnor Maloney had his first 100-yard receiving game, and was the first player other than Trey Brock to have a 100-yard receiving game since John Haley in 2014
- Maloney was also part of last season's G-MAC indoor track championship men's distance medley relay team
- Sophomore TE Martin Petersen scored his first collegiate touchdown in last week's loss at Michigan Tech
- Hillsdale is in the middle of a stretch where it plays four out of five games on the road. The team's lone home game in that five-week span is next weekend's homecoming game against Lake Erie
