OVERVIEW: One of the best football rivalries in the GLIAC has migrated over to the Great Midwest Athletic Conference, as the red-hot Findlay Oilers battle the Hillsdale College Chargers at Frank "Muddy" Waters Stadium Saturday...This will be the first-ever Charger home football game broadcast on ESPN3 and the WatchESPN app as part of the 2017 NCAA Division II Showcase...The Oilers have won four in a row by an average of more than 50 points per game, while the Chargers are coming off a 41-27 loss at Ohio Dominican...This game matches up the G-MAC's top two scoring offenses against the conference's top two scoring defenses...In each case, Findlay is ranked No. 1 while Hillsdale is No. 2...The Oilers' top-ranked rushing offense (290.5 yards per game) will take on the conference's No. 1 rush defense from Hillsdale, allowing 111.5 yards per game...Findlay QB Rhys Gervais is expected to return to his starting role after missing the past two games with an injury...Hillsdale's Chance Stewart is the G-MAC's second-leading passer, averaging 263.2 passing yards per game...Stewart has been hot lately, throwing for 1,062 yards in his last three games...He was named the G-MAC Offensive Player of the Week on Oct. 2 after accounting for six total touchdowns (four passing, two rushing) in a 56-0 win over Kentucky Wesleyan...His favorite target is junior WR Trey Brock, who is second in NCAA Division II with 767 receiving yards this season...Brock tied a career-high with 13 receptions last week at Ohio Dominican, and his 302 receiving yards at No. 5-ranked Indianapolis on Sept. 23 were a school and conference record, and the highest receiving yardage total for a single game in Division II this season...Both Findlay and Hillsdale have football program roots in the NAIA...Hillsdale reclassified to NCAA Division II in 1990 and the Oilers followed suit 10 years later.
