THE SERIES: Ohio Dominican leads the all-time series with the Chargers 4-2, and have won three straight meetings in the series.

OVERVIEW: Don't let the 2-3 overall record fool you, Ohio Dominican's football team is tough and talented...The Panthers' 3 losses have come to: 2016 Ivy League champion Penn, No. 4-ranked Indiana (PA) and No. 18-ranked Ashland...The ODU defense has allowed a total of 3 points over its last 8 quarters, bouncing back from an 0-3 start...ODU is coming off a 20-3 win over Walsh...Hillsdale impressively snapped a two-game losing streak last weekend, beating Kentucky Wesleyan 56-0, its first home shutout since 2009...In that game, the offense set a school record for most total yards for the second consecutive week with 659, breaking the record of 650 set just one week earlier...Junior QB Chance Stewart was named the G-MAC Offensive Player of the Week this week after throwing for 281 yards and 4 touchdowns, and rushing for 70 yards and 2 more scores in the win over the Panthers...One matchup to watch is when ODU's offense is on the field against the Hillsdale defense...The Panthers average 342.8 passing yards per game - No. 1 in the conference - while Hillsdale has the G-MAC's best defensive unit, allowing just 327.2 total yards per game...ODU's Grant Russell leads the G-MAC with 1,502 passing yards this season, and he's thrown 13 touchdown passes against just one interception...Hillsdale's Trey Brock is averaging 118.4 receiving yards per game, while the conference's No. 2 and 3 receivers play for ODU (David Turner and Cory Contini)...Hillsdale, Findlay and Ohio Dominican have combined for nine of the G-MAC's 12 conference football wins in 2017.
