Extra Points

  • This is the second year in a row the Chargers and Wildcats will play in the Superior Dome.
  • Hillsdale's Trey Brock continues to lead the GLIAC in both average receiving yards per game (125.9) and average receptions per game (7.4). If he has one more 100-yard receiving game, he will set a school record for most 100-yard receiving games in a season at seven. He and Andre Holmes currently share the record at six.
  • Sophomore QB Chance Stewart has a 13-to-2 touchdown-to-interception ratio, the second-best in the conference. His 287 passing yards per game rank second in the GLIAC as well.
  • One of the emerging players on defense for the Chargers is sophomore safety Wyatt Batdorff. He ranks seventh in the conference in tackles per game with 9.4 this season.
  • Keith Otterbein is the dean of GLIAC head football coaches. He's entering his 15th season coaching the Chargers (his alma mater), the longest tenure of any coach with his current program. Otterbein also coached at Ferris State from 1986-94, making 2016 his 24th season coaching in the GLIAC.
