Extra Points

  • Sophomore QB Chance Stewart has moved to the top spot in the GLIAC passing statistical rankings. After a 338-yard day against Ferris State last week, Stewart is now averaging 294.5 passing yards per game, and has an 18-yards-per-game lead on the conference's second-leading passer, Ashland's Travis Tarnowski.
  • Sophomore WR Trey Brock is having a season for the record books. He is fourth in NCAA Division II with 7.7 receptions per game and 131.7 receiving yards per game. Even if he doesn't have a single yard in Saturday's game, he has clinched the Hillsdale College school record for average receiving yards per game in a single season.
  • Twelve players, and 15 individuals in total, will be honored before the game as part of the Senior Day ceremony.
  • The Storm are fourth in the conference in rushing attempts, and have dangerous special teams, ranking third in the GLIAC in kick return yardage.
  • Keith Otterbein is the dean of GLIAC head football coaches. He's entering his 15th season coaching the Chargers (his alma mater), the longest tenure of any coach with his current program. Otterbein also coached at Ferris State from 1986-94, making 2016 his 24th season coaching in the GLIAC.
