One more honor came in for Charger wide receiver Trey Brock from his incredible 2016 season.

Brock was named honorable mention All-American by D2football.com, the leading Website covering NCAA Division II football. The team was announced Thursday morning.

He was one of just six sophomores to earn All-American distinction from the Website, and the only one on the honorble mention list. Brock is the first Charger football player to be named All-American since H-back Cam White and running back Joe Glendening were so honored after the 2012 season.

In 2016, Brock set a school record with nine 100-yard receiving games, including eight in a row to end the season. He caught 77 passes for 1,322 yards and 12 touchdowns for Hillsdale. His receptions total and receiving yardage total were both second-most in a season in school history.

Andre Holmes was the last Hillsdale College wide receiver to earn All-American accolades. Holmnes just finished his fifth season in the NFL and fourth with the Oakland Raiders.
