2016: Redshirted as a true freshman…Named the team’s Offensive Scout Team Player of the Week on Oct. 24.

High School: A tight end from Snider High School in Fort Wayne, Indiana who helped his team to a State title in 2015 and to be State Runner-Up in 2012…He also played hockey taking part in earning a State title in 2014 and Runner-Up in 2013…He was a team captain of the lacrosse team…He earned Academic All-State honors in both football and hockey and was a member of the National Honor Society…He gave back to the community by volunteering at Erin’s House, the Allen County Annual AIDS Walk, and a local soup kitchen…Born September 25, 1997…Parents are Michael and Kathryn Thornson.
