Bio

2014: Battled through injuries to have his best season in 2014…Got the season off to a flying start, rushing for 326 yards and five touchdowns in the season’s first two games…His 41 carries against Lake Erie Sept. 13 were the second-most in a game in school history…Ran for a career-high 183 yards and two scores in the 48-41 win over the Storm…Opened the season with 143 rushing yards and three touchdowns on the road against Findlay Sept. 6…Rang up 598 rushing yards and six touchdowns on the season…Named the team’s Offensive Player of the Week on Sept. 7…Recipient of the Big Stick Award on Nov. 2.

2013: Had a terrific spring in 2013 and was in line to become a go-to player on offense, when he suffered a season-ending injury late in the season opener against California (Pa.)…Showed flashes of his talent in that game, averaging 5.2 yards per carry on 10 attempts, and caught two passes for 36 yards…Is expected to be at full strength heading into 2014… Winner of the team’s E.P.E.P. Award on Sept. 9.

2012: Redshirted as a true freshman. 

High School: Highly decorated championship running back from Saginaw Nouvel High School…Named the Associated Press Division 7-8 Player of the Year after leading the Panthers to a 13-0 record and the 2011 Division 7 state championship…Set a state-title game record of 5 touchdowns (all in the first half) in Nouvel’s 56-26 win over Pewamo-Westphilia in the state championship game…Carried the ball 176 times for an incredible 2,134 rushing yards as a senior, averaging more than 12 yards per carry…Scored 69 rushing touchdowns combined in 2010 and 2011…Totaled 3,570 rushing yards in his last two seasons on varsity…Named the Player of the Year and to the Dream Team by The Saginaw News…Earned First-Team All-State honors and was selected to play in the Michigan High School Football Coaches Association East/West All-Star Game…Is a First Degree Black Belt and has earned a silver and two bronze medals at the United States Tae Kwon Do Union Junior Olympic National Championships…Also a member of the school’s Science Club and competed for the powerlifting team…Born January 24, 1994…Parents are Scott and Julie.
