2013: Redshirted as a true freshman in 2013… Named the team’s Defensive Scout Team Player of the Week on Nov. 18.

High School: Prolific running back for the Coyotes of Tatum High School in New Mexico…Ran for 1,949 yards and 26 touchdowns as a senior in 2012, helping lead the team to a 9-2 record…On defense, had 134 total tackles and six sacks…Averaged 177 rushing yards per game and 12 tackles per game…Named the New Mexico Athletic Directors Association Male Scholar-Athlete of the Year for 2012-13…Valedictorian of his senior class and was a winner of the Wendy’s High School Heisman…Named the county Offensive Player of the Year by the Hobbs News Sun…First-Team All-State on offense and defense…Also netted First-Team All-Country and First-Team All-District recognition…Twice named the Hobbs News Sun Athlete of the Week and earned sportsmanship awards at state and local levels…Helped lead Coyotes to a four-year record of 31-14 in his four seasons on the varsity team…Helped team to state runner-up status in 2009 and 2012…A three-time district champion (2009, 2011, 2012)…His team won the 2009 NMAA Team Sportsmanship Award…Member of FFA and SCAT for four years, the National Honor Society for two years, the student council for two years and the Envirothon Team for two years…In 2011, took first place in an individual state forestry FFA contest…Born Sept. 27, 1994…Parents are Ricky and Leslie.
