Bio

2012: Entering 2013 with 22 career starts at left tackle and is slated to start there once again in 2013…Has missed just one game in his career…Anchor of an offense that allowed just 1.2 sacks per game and led the GLIAC in average time of possession per game.

2011:  Returning starting offensive lineman…Started all 11 games at left tackle in 2011…One of the tallest players on the team, and has excellent combination of strength and athleticism…A top-notch communicator, and like his teammates on the line, adjust to changing situations effectively.

2010: Saw action in six games, but figures to play a larger role in the offense in 2011…Slated as one of the team’s starting offensive linemen entering preseason practice.

High School: Helped lead Crusaders to state championship in 2006 and 2008…Team was undefeated in his senior season…Compiled 70 tackles and six sacks in 2008 while playing defensive end…Also started at right tackle on offense…Named All-State by the Detroit News and Detroit Free Press in 2008…Played varsity basketball for three seasons…Participated on a mission trip to aid victims of Hurricane Katrina in 2008...Born Dec. 13, 1990…Parents are Michael and Tina...Nephew of Hillsdale College H-backs and tight ends coach Pat Hornak...Is a Mathematics major.
