A Homecoming Tradition - The Charger Baseball Home Run Derby

A Homecoming Tradition - The Charger Baseball Home Run Derby

The Charger Baseball team will be swinging hard in the Sixth Annual Home Run Derby in an effort to raise support for the team! The team aims to raise $15,000 for the Baseball Operating Fund through the Home Run Derby. As a fan of Charger Baseball, you already know how critical support from alumni, parents and friends is to its continued success.  Please consider helping the team complete its goal and support their annual operating budget!

How does it work? The team has voted on the top 8 power hitters to participate in the competition. Each hitter drafts a team of 3 (non-hitters) to help them raise funds for their "team". Each hitter will participate in bracketed timed rounds of 1:30, per round. For every $25 raised, that hitting team can add an additional second to their hitting clock.

2022 Participants:

Joe Hardenbergh

Jeff Landis

Jaekob Sallee

Cody Kanclerz

Aidan Brewer

Danny Passinault

Will Shannon

Trey Haeger

Please consider joining us for this fun event and growing annual tradition! Many thanks for your continued support. Go Chargers!
