For the second time this month, Hillsdale College junior Ethan Wiskur was named GLIAC North Divisin Player of the Week.
He completed a fantastic regular season with a .600 batting average in four games last week, crushing two home runs, driving in five, and compiling a slugging percentage of 1.067.
His week capped a regular season that saw him hit a career-best 74 hits, which would have set the single-season school record prior to this year. He had at least one hit in 28 of 32 GLIAC games this season, and had a .387 batting average, which was fifth overall in the conference.
Wiskur is the first Charger player in more than a decade to be named GLIAC Player of the Week more than once in a season.
