Bio

In September 2020, Mikayla Kemp was promoted to a full-time position as an Athletic Trainer with the Hillsdale College Sports Medicine and Performance Department. As part of her duties, Kemp will work closely with the cross country, softball and women's basketball teams as their primary athletic trainer.

A native of Niles, Michigan, Kemp received a Bachelor of Science degree from Adrian College in 2017, and earned her Master of Science degree in Athletic Training from the same institution in 2018, receiving her certification as an athletic trainer at the same time. Following graduation, she joined the Hillsdale College Athletic Department in the fall of 2018, and spent the next two years working as a part-time trainer for the Chargers, while also working part-time as an athletic trainer at nearby Hillsdale High School.
