A multitalented football player for Hillsdale College, Webb was
a 1977 All-American for the Chargers. He earned All-Conference
accolades three times, was named All-District twice, and was named
the team’s Most Outstanding Defensive Lineman in 1975. He was
named the NAIA District 23 Player of the Week twice in 1977. Also a
member of the Hillsdale College track team, he was a sprinter and
threw the shot put. He went on to a career with the Michigan
Department of Corrections and has been involved with Meals on
Wheels and the Lunch Buddies community programs.
