Mark Flood ‘78

 

A three-year team captain and MVP in track and field, and earned the Kimball Award in 1978.  He earned more than 50 first-place finishes in indoor/outdoor conference meets in his dominating career.  In 1976, he set five school records. In 1977, set seven school records, and NAIA District 23 indoor long jump record of 23 feet, ½ inches.  Competed in long jump, triple jump, javelin, and 110-meter hurdles.  Named the most improved player on the 1975 Charger football team.
