Jim Inman ‘82

An assistant athletic director at the college from 1981-91, Jim Inman played an integral role in the fundraising and construction of the George Roche Sports Complex during his tenure with the department. He helped plan and establish events like the school’s annual homecoming game and came up with the concept of business and industry night, which linked the college to the surrounding community in a new and exciting way. He also served as athletic director at Hillsdale High School and helped lead the Hornets to a state championship in golf and football. The lounge overlooking the Jack McAvoy Natatorium is named in his honor.
