Dwight Harwood ‘14
Dwight Harwood accumulated more seasons coaching Hillsdale College athletic teams than any other man. For a number of years, he coached the school’s football, men’s basketball, baseball and track teams, as well as serving as athletic director. His 19-season tenure as football coach, from 1927-45, remains the second-longest in school history. His 69 wins as football coach ranks third in school history, and he was the school’s men’s basketball coach from 1926-34 and 1940-46.
