Lance Bowles '93

The 1991 NAIA national champion in the 600-yard run, Lance Bowles was one of the most successful middle distance runners in the history of the Hillsdale College track program. While a three-time All-American, a 10-time GLIAC champion, and a 15-time All-GLIAC runner, Bowles was part of six different school records at Hillsdale in individual events and relay teams. Many of his records stood for more than a decade. In 1992 he qualified for the indoor national championships in the NAIA as well as NCAA Division II.
