Albert Rizzardi '39
As quarterback and team captain, he led the 1938 football squad to an undefeated, untied 8-0 season and was Hillsdale College’s first All-American. He excelled in baseball, football and basketball, earning nine varsity letters. An avid golfer, he also served as a Major League Baseball scout for the Philadelphia Phillies during the 1960s and 1970s.
